Why pay higher interest rates on your other credit cards when you can
pay a low, fixed rate on your Ulster FCU VISA card? Other credit cards'
introductory rates can sometimes increase to 21% after the introductory
period, resulting in higher interest charges over the course of time. |
|
But
with a credit union VISA card, you enjoy low monthly payments, no annual service charge, a
25-day grace period on purchases, and a credit line up to $10,000 for
qualified applicants. Fill out an application and see how
our VISA card can work for you. Once approved you will receive your credit
card in approximately 2 weeks. We offer VISA cash advances at our teller
windows, which can be used to pay off your other higher-interest credit
cards.
Both our Classic and Gold cards come with many enhancements. One key
one is Scorecard which is a gift and travel rewards program. Every dollar
spent with your card translates to a point towards the Scorecard program.
It is amazing how quickly the points add up. The travel program is very
competitive against those offered by major banks.
Visa Classic
Our Classic card is great for members just getting started with
credit or for members who dont want a large credit line. The minimum
credit line is $250 and the maximum is $7500 depending upon salary and
credit worthiness. The rate for this card is 11.95% including
transferring balances from other cards. The cash advance rate is 13.95%.
Visa Gold
The Visa Gold card is a recent addition for those members who want a
higher credit line. The minimum credit line is $5000 and the maximum is
$10,000. Salary and credit worthiness determine the credit line. One
requirement is that the applicant have an annual salary of at least
$25,000. The rate for purchases and transfers on the Gold card is
10.95%. The cash advance rate is 13.95%.
Secured Visa
For members looking to establish credit or rebuild poor credit, we
offer a secured credit card. This is the Classic card mentioned above.
The credit line is secured with funds in a credit union share account or
share certificate. The limit will be secured by 150% of the limit
granted. For example, a $250 credit limit card would be secured by a
share account with $375.
